From the 20th anniversary of the opulent Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) to the largest technology conference in the world, ‘Web Summit’, and the return of the popular Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), February is packed with events of all kinds for people of all ages and tastes.
DJWE will begin today and run until February 11 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), marking a seven-day run for the first time. The QIFF returns on February 7 for an 11-day run at Expo Family Zone at Al Bidda Park.
Renowned comedian Russell Peters is headed to Qatar for a stand-up comedy show on February 17 at Qatar National Convention Centre.
Web Summit Qatar 2024 will be hosted in Qatar from February 26 to 29. This is the first time the conference is being hosted in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Equestrian lovers can head to the Longines Outdoor Area in Al Shaqab for HH The Amir’s Sword for Showjumping and Dressage Championship from February 15 to 17.
The Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2024 is returning on February 16, with various race distances as well as opportunities for participants with disabilities. This year, the event will host over 15,000 participants, and proceeds will be distributed to local charities.
The largest MMA event in history, the Finishers Championship Qatar, is scheduled on February 17 at Khalifa International Stadium.
Qatar Total Energies Open (February 11 – 17) and the Qatar Exxonmobil Open (February 19 to 24) will be held at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex for tennis enthusiasts to witness top players in the sport.
A charity event, Match for Hope, is to be hosted on February 23 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium. Qatar Batabit Show for motorbike enthusiasts will be held from February 22 to 23 at Katara Cultural Village.
The Honey Festival is being hosted as part of Expo 2023 Doha until February 10 while the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition is set from February 21 to 27, also at Al Bidda Park.
Qatar Camel Festival 2024 is running until February 15 at Labsir Square in Al Shahaniya. The 12th Halal Qatar Festival will be hosted from
February 20- 25 at Katara’s Southern Area, in addition to Mahaseel Festival on February 17.
Concerts and musical evenings this month include the trio Khaled al-Mulla, Waleed Aljilani, and Najeed Moqbly on February 8 at U Venue; Nawal El Kuwaitia at Katara Amphitheater on February 9; Abdel Aziz Alduwaihi and Ali Abdullah on February 9 at U Venue; and Ahmed Saad on February 11 at Katara Amphitheater.
The Kuwaiti adventure play ‘Rabbits’ (February 21 – 22) will be hosted at Abdulaziz Nasser Theater in Souq Waqif.
Design Doha will run from February 24- 28 at M7, Msheireb while the 9th edition of Teeb AlHazm is returning on February 27 and running until March 9.
Luminous Lusail at Al Sa’ad Plaza in Lusail Boulevard will be taking place from February 21 to March 2, daily from 5pm to midnight.
