Tourism KwaZulu Natal (TKZN) continued its international tourism drive in Cape Town last week at World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2024.
The marketing organisation also presented a multi-billion-rand range of development opportunities to investors, funding agencies and financial institutions during the Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA 2024) – which ran concurrently with WTM.
Noting the importance of shows like WTM Africa and investment forums such as TIFA, Acting CEO of TKZN, Sibusiso Gumbi said: “To effectively market and promote KZN internationally, TKZN must influence all levels of the travel value chain.
“Whether we are at international travel exhibitions or hosting major travel companies and agents in KZN, we are building meaningful relationships to ensure that the province is featured in travel packages and that agents have the knowledge to sell KZN to their clients.”
