UK holidaymakers who have booked trips to Spain and Turkey have been warned about an upcoming deadline in April.
The UK government has announced new passport fees this week, and tourists with holidays planned in the next few months need to be aware of a fast-approaching deadline. From April 11, the cost to apply for a new passport will go up.
If your passport is close to its expiry date, you’re being encouraged to renew it before that date to avoid paying more. The price for a standard online application will go from £82.50 to £88.50, and the cost for children’s passports will increase from £53.30 to £57.50.
