Turkey aims to attract over seven million tourists from Russia by 2025, the country’s tourism industry said, citing the positive trajectory of political and economic relations between the two countries, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
“Things are going very well in the Russian market. Some people try to attribute this to marketing strategies, but they have nothing to do with it. “Since the ruble appreciated, Russians have started making reservations,” said Kaan Kavaloglu, president of the Mediterranean Tour Operators, Hoteliers and Investors Association (AKTOB).
