redBus, an online bus ticketing platform, has partnered with Twid, a rewards-based payment network, to introduce a new payment option using reward points for bus travel. This collaboration allows redBus users to pay for their tickets using loyalty points, either partially or fully, across 5 lakh routes nationwide.
Vatsal Jain, SVP enterprise business at Twid, commenting on the partnership, said, ‘This collaboration with redBus represents a significant advancement in digital payments. By integrating our “Pay with Rewards” technology, we’re creating additional value for both redBus and its customers.’
The new payment method is aimed at making intercity bus travel more affordable and convenient by allowing travellers to convert their accumulated points into cash-like value at checkout.
