Air Canada a month ago said it would be reducing capacity to Florida. Now we’re learning some of the details.
SimpleFlying.com says Air Canada will replace larger-capacity Airbus A320 with smaller Airbus aircraft for flights to FLL from both YYZ and YUL. Similar downsizing will take place on flights from YYZ to MIA, MCO and RSW.
The changes are mostly taking place in July and August.
The website also said Air Canada will reduce YVR-MIA flights from four days a week to three.
Air Canada already removed several US-bound routes that it had operated in July 2024, including flights from YUL to New Orleans, and flights from YYZ to Hartford, Kansas City and Portland, Oregon.
