Air Canada improved its on-time performance in March, getting more passengers to their final destinations on schedule, according to new data from Cirium.
The aviation analytics company, sharing its monthly on-time performance report, said Air Canada landed 75.60 per cent of its 32,030 flights on time last month.
By comparison, the airline got 59.97 per cent of its 28,022 February flights to their destinations on time.
Cirium defines a late flight as one that lands 15 minutes or more past its scheduled arrival time.
When compared to the top ten airlines in Canada and the U.S., Air Canada placed eighth on Cirium’s monthly list, just ahead of Frontier Airlines, which landed 74.82 per cent of its 19,885 flights on time.
