Air Canada has marked the one-year anniversary of adopting the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, the first airline in North America to implement this initiative.
The program utilizes a discreet sunflower symbol that passengers can voluntarily display to indicate a non-visible disability, such as autism or chronic pain.
In the year since its launch, 11 additional Canadian airports have adopted the program.
