Air Canada is set to revamp its Aeroplan program with a dynamic pricing model for United, Emirates, and Etihad, starting March 25. This shift marks a significant departure from the airline’s current fixed award chart, which has provided a predictable means for members to redeem points for partner flights. It will now be called the ‘Air Canada and Select Partners’ award table.
Currently, Aeroplan members can book flights on partner airlines at fixed rates, which can be quite favourable. For instance, a one-way domestic flight with United can be booked for as low as 6,000 Aeroplan points. However, this straightforward system is about to become more fluid.
