Air Canada has started serving authentic Japanese inflight meals overseen by Micheline Star chef Masaki Hashimoto in the the Signature Class on the Japan-Canada routes since March 2025. With the new service, the airline intends to offer higher value to the business class passengers as one of the corporate efforts to raise customer satisfactions.
Hashimoto is an owner chef of Toronto-based ‘Kaiseki Yu-zen Hashimoto.’ This is the third Air Canada’s collaboration with famous chef, following French and Indian meals.
