Air Canada
will provide free WiFi on its North American and Sun routes in 2025. The airline also has plans to expand the connectivity to its long-haul network in 2026.
Earlier this week, Air Canada took a step that many airlines have taken in recent years, announcing free WiFi for passengers. Though free WiFi will be available on a large portion of Air Canada’s network, it will not be available on long-haul flights until 2026. Bell, which is Canada’s largest telecommunications company, is sponsoring the WiFi and has already been in partnership with the airline.
