After nearly five years, Air Canada has resumed its non-stop flights between Vancouver and Beijing-Capital, becoming the second North American airline to reconnect with the Chinese capital. This route is also operated by Air China, its Star Alliance partner, four times a week. The resumed service complements the airline’s daily flights between Vancouver and Shanghai-Pudong.
Flight AC 29, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner registered C-FVLX, departed from Vancouver International Airport at 12:10 local time, landing at Beijing-Capital International Airport at 16:27 the following day after a flight lasting 12 hours and 17 minutes.
