New international direct flights from India
Hyderabad to Bangkok
Late in February, IndiGo launched daily direct flights between Hyderabad and Bangkok, making it the first Indian carrier to introduce direct connectivity between the two cities. The flight to Bangkok departs at 3.55am and lands at 9.05am, while the return flight to Hyderabad departs at 10.05am and lands at 12.05pm. A one-way ticket starts from Rs14,188
Chennai to Kuwait
From 3 March, Air India Express launched direct flights between Chennai and Kuwait that run five times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday). The flight to Kuwait departs at 18.50pm and lands at 22.05pm, while the flight to Chennai departs at 23.05pm and lands at 06.35am. Jaipur to Abu Dhabi
Starting 16 June, Etihad Airways will commence direct flights between Jaipur and Abu Dhabi four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday Sunday). The flight to Abu Dhabi will depart at 11am and land at 1pm, while the flight to Jaipur will depart at 3.05am and land at 8.05am. Currently, there are no direct flights on this route. IndiGo offers flights from Jaipur to Abu Dhabi with a stop in Ahmedabad or Mumbai. A one-way ticket starts from Rs15,865
Bengaluru to Bali
From 29 March, IndiGo will commence daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Bali. The flight to Denpasar in Bali will depart at 00.05am and land at 10.20am, while the flight to Bengaluru will depart at 11.20am and land at 15.15pm. Mumbai to Doha
Akasa Air will launch direct flights between Mumbai and Doha starting 28 March. Though this is a route that currently has direct flights—from airlines like IndiGo, Air India and Qatar Airways—This is Akasa Air’s first foray into international operations. The flight will run four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). The flight to Doha will depart at 17.45pm and land at 19.40pm, while the flight to Mumbai will depart at 20.40pm and land at 2.45am. A one-way ticket starts from Rs17,210
