Air India remains the only airline in India to offer premium economy alongside business and economy classes. The airline currently offers this option on 39 domestic routes, providing over 50,000 seats weekly. Key metro-to-metro routes such as Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Bangalore, Delhi-Hyderabad, Mumbai-Bangalore, and Mumbai-Hyderabad account for approximately 34,000 of these seats.
