An Air India flight travelling non-stop from Toronto to Delhi was forced to divert to Frankfurt on May 2 after multiple lavatories on board the aircraft, reportedly, became clogged mid-flight. This marks the second such instance involving an Air India-operated flight in under two months.

Flight AI188, operated using a Boeing 777, had been airborne for approximately six hours when the issue emerged, prompting the crew to initiate an unscheduled landing in Frankfurt for maintenance.
