A dramatic full-scale emergency evacuation of an Air India Express flight was ordered at Kempegowda International Airport after one of its engines caught fire on May 18. Shortly after take-off from Bengaluru to Kochi, passengers spotted flames shooting from one of the plane’s engines, prompting an emergency landing. Fortunately, no one was injured.
