Miami International Airport is in ongoing talks with Air India for new air service, according to Miami Today.
The airline has been in talks to provide direct service to India. The discussions have been taking place for some time and are continuing, the report said.
Miami’s current longest scheduled route is to Dubai, at 7,845 miles.
A potential flight from Miami to New Delhi would be 8,404 miles.
