Air India, one of India’s leading airlines, has teamed up with MedAire, a top aviation medical support provider, to offer emergency healthcare services to passengers and crew during flights.

This new initiative makes Air India the first Indian airline to implement MedAire’s advanced medical assistance across its entire fleet, setting a new standard in the aviation sector.

Through MedAire’s MedLink app, Air India will have 24/7 access to emergency physicians who specialize in aviation. These doctors will be available for consultations during in-flight medical situations, helping assess and manage any health issues that arise. As Air India continues to expand its nonstop long-haul flights, this partnership emphasizes the airline’s dedication to safety.

As per the official Press Release, Air India’s CEO, Campbell Wilson, said, “MedAire’s expertise in providing medical support services for airlines will meet the requirements of our expanding operations.
