An Air India shuttle bus caught fire at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi on Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 12:53 pm. According to airport officials, the bus was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no passengers were aboard.
Fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control and subsequently doused.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have originated from the bus’s engine. Further details regarding the exact cause are awaited.
The incident caused minor disruptions to airport operations, but normal services were restored shortly after the fire was extinguished. The bus was towed away from the area.
