Domestic airlines flew 661.42 lakh passengers between January and May, as against 636.07 lakh during the same period in the previous year.
The annual passenger growth registered was 3.99%, while the monthly increase was 4.40%.
Indigo’s local passenger market share for May rose to 61.6%, while that of Air India fell to 13.7%. The local passenger market share for both Vistara and Alliance Air remained unchanged at 9.2% and 1%, respectively.
