Delhi-Dubai Air India Flight: Air India has launched its services with the A350 aircraft on international routes, commencing with the first Delhi-Dubai flight on Wednesday. The Tata Group-owned airline plans to introduce the wide-body plane on more overseas routes in the upcoming months.
Air India currently operates a daily service between Delhi and Dubai, utilising the A350-900 aircraft, which features a three-class cabin configuration with 316 seats. The airline is the only carrier deploying this particular plane between India and Dubai at present.
According to PTI report, Air India intends to deploy the A350 aircraft on the London route starting in November. Additionally, the airline has plans to introduce planes on several other international routes.

Air India began incorporating the A350 planes into its fleet this year, using them for both domestic and international flights. The airline has placed an order for 40 A350 planes, and currently has at least four of them in operation.
Presently, Air India operates 72 weekly flights to Dubai from five cities in India, with 32 of them originating from Delhi.

Meanwhile, in related news, Heavy rains and thunderstorms hit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday, leading to cancellation of multiple international flights. In response to these adverse weather conditions, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) of the UAE has heightened the readiness and preparedness levels of the national system to deal with the situation.
