YouGov India has rolled out brand advocacy rankings for the hotel and airline sector. These rankings reveal the most recommended brands by customers within these sectors.
The advocacy rankings take into consideration how current and former customers of leading brands within the hotel and airline sector endorsed them over the past year.
The questions the respondents had to answer were:
- Would you recommend the brand to a friend or colleague?
- Would you tell a friend or colleague to avoid the brand?
Among the hotel rankings, Taj Hotels topped the list followed by Marriott and IT Hotels.
Among the airline industry, Emirates was on top of the list. Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines completed the top three. Air Vistara (six), Air India (eight) and Indigo (10) were the Indian airline brands among the top 10.

For the study, only respondents who are current or former customers of a given brand were considered. Rankings data was collected between 1 January and 31 December 2023.
