Winter Flight Surge: Airlines Boost Capacity This Year

Airlines are set to increase flight frequencies as the winter travel season approaches, aiming to cater to anticipated higher passenger demand. Several major carriers, including IndiGo, SpiceJet, Akasa Air, Air India Express, and Vistara, are expected to adjust their schedules to accommodate this surge.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been processing applications from these airlines for enhanced flight operations.
