AirAsia Inaugurates Bangkok (Don Mueang) – Shanghai route More travel options for guests as airline launches direct flights to Kaohsiung too!

BANGKOK – February 5, 2024 —

AirAsia today celebrates two new routes as it launches direct flights between Don Mueang and Shanghai with a frequency of five times a week and Don Mueang to Kaohsiung with four flights weekly.

To mark the double celebration, AirAsia jointly with Don Mueang Airport organized a welcoming event for arriving passengers from both destinations here today. Both inaugural flights proved to be a popular choice among travelers and resulted in high load factors of over 95 percent.

Bangkok (Don Mueang)-Shanghai, operated by Thai AirAsia (FD), provides a convenient and affordable alternative to the existing Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi)-Shanghai sector, serviced by Thai AirAsia X (XJ).
