AirAsia has expanded its reach and network in Vietnam by launching a new direct route from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN).
The inaugural flight departed Kota Kinabalu at 11:45 local time on December 3, 2024, and arrived at Ho Chi Minh City at 12:55 local time, with a passenger load of 96%.
The new service marks the 16th international flight operated by AirAsia Malaysia from Kota Kinabalu.
