The chorus of Boeing Co. critics grew louder as the head of American Airlines Group Inc. called out the planemaker over a series of quality lapses that have grounded aircraft and upended the operations of numerous carriers.
“We need them to produce a quality product every time,” Robert Isom, American’s chief executive officer, said Thursday on CNBC. “We need everybody at Boeing getting their act together.”
