American Airlines flight attendants picketed at DFW International Airport Thursday for a new contract, a week after the Fort Worth-based airline’s CEO tried to slide them a 17% pay bump outside of an agreement.
Last week, in an effort to show progress toward a new contract, CEO Robert Isom delivered a proposal to the union offering an immediate 17% wage increase and an increase in 2024 profit sharing. Isom sent a video message to every flight attendant at American explaining the situation.
