An American Airlines flight landed in San Francisco last week with damage to its engine cover.
The Federal Aviation Administration reported that maintenance staff discovered damage to the No. 2 engine cowling, on the right-hand side, during a routine post-flight inspection of the Airbus A321-200, which flew from Dallas-Fort Worth to San Francisco International Airport on Thursday.
