No injuries are reported after an oven fire forced an American Airlines flight to land at Bush Intercontinental Airport on Sunday afternoon.
Officials with the Houston Airport Systems say fire crews responded around 2:50 p.m. to the airport for a reported fire in the galley of a Boeing 737-800. The jet was declared fire-safe after about half an hour.
American Airlines issued a statement apologizing to their passengers, who were put on board another flight to Charlotte, North Carolina, that evening.
