SAN ANTONIO – Soldiers hospitalized at Brook Army Medical Center had a wonderful night Monday as American Airlines, Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, and the Dallas Mavericks hosted their 17th Annual Seats for Soldiers Night.
More than 100 wounded, ill, or otherwise hospitalized service members from Brook Army Medical Center and the Texas Army National Guard, enjoyed dinner and the Dallas Mavericks game.
The soldiers were flown from San Antonio to Dallas, courtesy of American Airlines, with pilots and flight attendants volunteering for the special charter flight.
They were then treated to a three-course dinner hosted by Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse, completely free of charge.
Finally, to end the night, the soldiers enjoyed court-side seats to the Mavericks vs. Magic game, followed by a meet-and-greet.
American Airlines has hosted this event in conjunction with other sponsors every year since 2007.
