American Airlines is getting ahead of the curve for Super Bowl LVIII travel plans, featuring what seems like endless flights out of Kansas City.
After defeating the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens, 17-10, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 11 in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV.
Now, American Airlines is offering seven flights from Kansas City and Harry Reid International (Las Vegas) Airports from Feb. 8-13.
However, two flights stand out.
Flight No. 1989 to Las Vegas will leave Kansas City at 12:30 p.m. CT on Feb. 10 as a nod to Taylor Swift’s Grammy-nominated album.
Then, Flight No. 87 will leave Harry Reid at 12:20 a.m. PT on Feb. 12 as a nod to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s jersey.
After a report noted Swift generated $331.5 million in brand value for the Chiefs and the NFL, American Airlines is now hopping on the bandwagon.
