During the busy holiday season, delays are expected. However, a recent American Airlines flight to Las Vegas was instead diverted back to Chicago after just two hours in the sky. A spokesperson for American Airlines briefly pointed to maintenance issues, without much of an explanation. FlightRadar 24 went a little more in depth with what might’ve taken place on the flight.
Thankfully, flight 1047 was able to land back in Chicago without any issues.
