Unruly passenger forces American Airlines flight from NYC to Milan to turn back around

(Gray News) – An unruly passenger forced an American Airlines flight from New York City to Milan to turn around.

Four hours after Flight 198 took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport on April 7, the pilot made an announcement that the plane would be turning back around to New York, according to CBS News.

Witnesses said a man was angry after not receiving his preferred meal and being told he could not sit in an exit row with a baby.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
