Richard’s story is one of unwavering commitment to his country and his loved ones. After graduating high school, he entered the army, where he served for four years before transitioning to the Army National Guard and then the Air Force National Guard. His military career spanned an impressive 28 years, showcasing his dedication to the United States. Parallel to his military service, Richard embarked on a career with American Airlines, specializing in load balances for airplanes, a critical role that ensured the safety of countless passengers.
Family and Adventure
Richard’s personal life was as rich and fulfilling as his professional endeavors. In January 2005, he married his soulmate, Janniene, and together they embarked on numerous adventures, including traveling to Canada on their Harley Trike and serving as gatekeepers for oil rigs in their RV during retirement. Richard’s legacy is carried on by his wife, son Paul Diana, daughters Lisa Walker, Tonya Self, Cindy England, and Rhonda Baggott, along with his seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy for him.
