After graduating high school, he entered the army, where he served for four years before transitioning to the Army National Guard and then the Air Force National Guard. His military career spanned an impressive 28 years, showcasing his dedication to the United States. In January 2005, he married his soulmate, Janniene, and together they embarked on numerous adventures, including traveling to Canada on their Harley Trike and serving as gatekeepers for oil rigs in their RV during retirement.
