A British Airways flight from Baltimore to London has declared an emergency whilst approaching the destination.
British Airways flight BAW2LJ, a Boeing 787-8 operating from Baltimore (BWI) to London Heathrow (LHR) declared an emergency with squawk code 7700 whilst approaching the destination.

Flight BAW2LJ declared the emergency with squawk code 7700 at 08:16 UTC whilst on its descent into London Heathrow, passing through FL180 (18,000 feet).
The flight has just landed Heathrow, and the nature of the emergency is not yet known. The weather for the flight’s arrival was Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IFR) with a 600 foot cloudbase.
