A British Airways flight bound for Toronto Pearson had to return back to London Heathrow following an ill crew member onboard.

British Airways flight BA83 is a routine scheduled flight between London Heathrow and Toronto, with the affected rotation being operated by G-YMMO.
As per data from Planespotters.net, G-YMMO is a 22.5 year old Boeing 777-200 that was delivered to the UK carrier back in September 2001.
Of the 777-200 variant, the UK carrier still has 43 of them in the fleet, of which 39 are in active service and four are currently parked, offering an average age of 24.0 years.
British Airways flight BA83 departed London Heathrow at 1223 local time on February 13 and proceeded westbound towards Toronto.
Upon entering the Atlantic Crossing, the aircraft made a u-turn and proceeded to head back to Heathrow.
After nearly three hours in the air, the aircraft made a safe landing back into Heathrow, with the aircraft not declaring an official emergency at any point during this incident.
As per reporting from AirLive, it is understood that the reason for the return back to London and not to continue onwards to Toronto was due to a crew member falling ill onboard the flight.
The ill crew member was offloaded and G-YMMO continued onwards to YYZ, where it landed late with a delay of around four hours.
