Holidaymakers were left “disgusted” after witnessing fellow passengers ‘engaging in an inappropriate act on a British Airways flight’. The shocking clip appeared to show a woman “vigorously” caressing a man’s groin during the ‘red eye’ flight from London Heathrow to Dublin on Tuesday (May 7).
Witnesses claimed the couple were “constantly at it” for 20 minutes as the plane flew over the Irish sea, despite the presence of young children on board. Farrah, 26, who was travelling with her mother and 32-year-old brother, expressed her shock at the couple’s actions during the roughly one-hour-long journey.
She said: “I was turning to look at my brother every time I was speaking, and then I saw a lot of sort of vigorous movement in the other seats on the other side.” She added: “It was very blatant. She was constantly – for 15 to 20 minutes of the flight – just constantly at it with the guy.”

Farrah also noted that the couple continued their activities even though there were children on the plane, including one who was running up and down the aisle. “When they got told to put their seat belts on, it was very obvious that he was zipping himself back up and putting everything back in.”
Describing the situation, she said: “It was just disgusting to be honest.” Farrah, from West London, captured the incident on camera during the delayed BA832 flight from Heathrow, which departed at 7.28am, as she embarked on a family holiday to Ireland.
An Airbus A320 plane was the backdrop for an encounter that quickly escalated into a splendid spectacle, according to a passenger who wished to remain anonymous. The female traveller spotted a couple getting cosy shortly after take-off on the short-haul flight.
The male passenger attempted to maintain discretion by draping a scarf over his lap. Recalling the experience, the eyewitness stated: “We had about 38 minutes of the flight time left when I noticed it. It was quite embarrassing for me to be sat with my brother and having to witness that.”
She emphasised the added discomfort due to the small size of the plane which forced the passengers in close proximity. “It was one of the smaller planes, making it a lot closer than the bigger planes.” Children between the ages of four and nine, she noted, were present on the flight, running up and down the aisles. “At that age, when they’re running past, they are going to look at something like that.”
Further commenting, she explained: “They covered themselves with a scarf, but it was quite obvious, as an adult, what they were doing.”
In response to the incident, a spokesperson from British Airways stated: “Our cabin crew colleagues were not alerted to any issue on board. They further clarified: “Had they been informed, they would have taken the appropriate steps to address it.”
