British Airways has announced a significant improvement to its flight services between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). At the end of October 2024, the airline will increase frequency on this popular route from 7 to 10 flights per week, offering daytime flights from London as well as night flights from São Paulo.
Currently operating once a day with state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, the increased frequency will see three additional flights per week, served by the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. This expansion not only offers customers more flexibility in travel times, it also demonstrates British Airways’ dedication to offering unrivaled connectivity and service in the region.
Neil Chernoff, Director of Planning and Strategy at British Airways, said: “We are excited to announce the expansion of our flight services between London Heathrow and São Paulo. This increase in frequency reflects the growing demand for travel between the United Kingdom and Brazil. We are confident that both business and leisure customers will appreciate the convenience and choice these additional flights bring.”
