A TikTok star said he had the ‘worst British Airways flight in history’ after sitting next to a child in first class who he claims kicked his seat for 10 hours.
Jack Remmington, 29, from Lincolnshire, boarded a flight from London to Orlando, Florida, earlier this year – after saving a ‘fortune’ in travel points.
However, the social media star – who appeared in the 2017 series of The X Factor and boasts over 200k TikTok followers – says their experience was ruined by a young child who kept putting their feet on the plastic partition between their chairs.
On top of this, Jack also claims that his private pod was ‘filthy’ and described the flight as 10 hours from ‘hell’.
Earlier this month, Jack shared his poor experience of the airline with his 82,000 X followers.
He fumed: ‘Worst flight in history of British Airways.
‘Saved up a fortune in Avios and spent loads for this ticket and it was a NIGHTMARE.’
The social media star claims a child sitting next to him kept kicking his seat throughout the journey.
He then posted a photo of the child resting their feet on the clear plastic partition between their seats.
Alongside this, he shared a video of rubbish lingering in some of the grooves around his private pod in first class, where tickets can cost thousands of pounds.
Jack added: ‘The seat was FILTHY.
‘I’m not an online complainer but what the hell are we paying for British Airways?’
Jack’s post left his followers outraged – with multiple rallying around him in agreement that the conditions were unacceptable.
One raged: ‘What the actual f*** are they doing?! Gross!’
‘I feel sick looking at this,’ another added. ‘Raging for you!!’
Meanwhile, a third said: ‘Why is this like a scene from a horror movie?’
However, others said Jack’s issue was with the child’s parents and not British Airways.
One critic said: ‘How is that a BA issue? Does the child work for BA?’
Another questioned: ‘Did you not say something [to the parents] on the flight?
When followers expressed their horror at the videos, Jack added: ‘It was 10 hours of that hell.
‘I just wanted to chill for 10 hours – I didn’t realise that would be too much of an ask.’
A British Airways spokesperson said: ‘We are sorry for our customer’s experience and we are in contact to resolve the matter.’
