We’ve had plenty of stormy weather and disruption at airports in recent weeks, and that continued into Sunday with high winds recorded across Northern Ireland.
While there was no major disruption reported at any of the airports in NI on Sunday, February 4, some pilots faced a choppy landing as they approached the strip in Belfast.
One member of the public managed to capture a British Airways flight from London Heathrow attempting to land at George Best Belfast City Airport before taking to the skies again instead of touching down.

The aircraft appeared to sway as it attempted to land on the tarmac and briefly touched the ground, with the pilot deciding to abort the landing and have another go.
Lisburn man Ryan Lynn, who runs his own YouTube channel documenting flights at NI airports, managed to capture the attempted landing on video.
BA flight 1428 managed to land safely a short time later.
