34-YO Gets Trapped Inside Delta Air Lines Flight Bathroom; Comes Out Of ‘Poop Box’ After 35 Mins

Imagine using the flight washroom and getting stuck inside while the aircraft is still in the air. It seems like a nightmare, especially for someone with claustrophobia or germaphobia. A very similar situation was recently experienced by a male passenger on a Delta Air Lines flight to New Orleans. Here’s what actually happened on that day.

Man Got Trapped Inside Delta Air Lines Flight Bathroom

Taking to Reddit, u/StuckDeltaBathroom shared the entire incident of her husband being stuck inside the bathroom for more than half an hour.

According to the Reddit post, a family of four was flying to New Orleans from Salt Lake City on a Delta Air Lines flight. Husband Brent, his wife, their 2-year-old, and 4-year-old kids were on this journey. While travelling, Brent got up from his seat to use the flight bathroom. Just like any other passenger, he walked straight to it to use it but little did he know what was about to happen right after.

Brent’s wife was waiting for her husband to be back to the seat but he was not returning to his seat. Sensing some problems and hearing the word ‘stuck’ said by a flight attendant, she went ahead to see what was actually going on. After about 10 minutes, she asked, “Excuse me, is there someone stuck in the bathroom”? The passenger soon realised that the passenger trapped inside the jammed door was her husband.

Two flight attendants yanked the bathroom door handle to open the door and bring the stuck man outside. Soon, another male passenger helped the attendants to rescue the trapped man but it did not lead to any solution. Later, the pilot also came near the bathroom and began to attempt to bring Brent out. After lots of struggle, pushing, yanking, and more for 35 minutes, Brent came out of the 3.5 x 5ft box.

The Airline Did Not Make Any Refund

According to the Reddit post, a fellow passenger clicked this video as Brent’s wife could not leave their kids to click pictures and videos of that situation. Delta Air Lines asked her to not post these videos on social media platforms. The family informed customer service about the horrible experience and demanded a refund but they did not agree to it.
