Delta Flight with engine failure lands in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
An Airbus A330-200 flight performed an emergency landing at Syracuse Airport Tuesday evening.
Around 7:00 PM, The Delta flight was en route from Detroit to Frankfurt, Germany when the plane suffered an engine failure. The plane was diverted to Syracuse.
According to the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority, the plane landed safely. A backup A330 was scheduled to pick up passengers so they could resume their journey.
