Delta Air Lines pilots aborted a takeoff at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport after a cockpit window burst open.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 6, involving Delta flight DL1767, which was bound for Atlanta. The aircraft, an Airbus A321, was reportedly travelling at approximately 100mph when the window shattered.
The crew initiated an aborted takeoff and the plane returned safely to the gate. Passengers were accommodated on a different aircraft and continued their journey. The reason for the window failure is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported among the 163 passengers and six crew members on board.
