A Closer Look At Emirates’ Airbus A380s In San Francisco & Houston

Doesn’t time fly? Emirates first flew the Airbus A380 from Dubai to Houston Intercontinental and San Francisco 10 years ago, in December 2014. The Californian city first saw Emirates’ superjumbos on December 1 of that year, followed two days later by the Texas link.

The Houston launch came two months and two days after the Middle Eastern operator’s A380s first appeared in Dallas/Fort Worth. However, Dallas/Fort Worth’s last Emirates double-decker quadjet flight was in early 2016.
