BENGALURU: In a significant operation, officers from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in Bengaluru recovered and seized 2.18 kilograms of gold in bar form from an Emirates flight arriving from Dubai on June 4, 2024. The contraband, valued at Rs 1.52 crore by a government-certified assayer, was discovered concealed in the front lavatory of the aircraft during a routine rummaging.
