An Emirates Airline’s Airbus A319, en route to the Philippines from Dubai, safely made an emergency landing early this morning at U-Tapao airport in Sattahip, Chon Buri province, after its landing gear failed to deploy.
The flight, carrying 100 passengers and nine crew, requested an emergency landing at about 1am this morning, due to a technical problem with the landing gear.
Permission was granted and the airport deployed ambulances, fire trucks and emergency teams.
