The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has announced that it has launched an investigation into low-cost carrier Flysafair. The commission says this follows media and social media reports of the airline allegedly overbooking flights.
It says it has contacted the airline to request information to kick start the investigation.
It has urged affected consumers to come forward with information that can assist in their investigation.
