Woman Presents Sketch To IndiGo Air Hostess Onboard, Watch Her Priceless Reaction – News18

Flying often involves its share of hassles, as travellers go through tight security, extended lines and long journeys. But on a recent IndiGo Airlines flight, a passenger recorded a sweet moment that left the online community delighted. During a flight in April, an artist on board decided to sketch one of the air hostesses and presented the artwork to her while on air. The touching moment between the artist and the flight attendant was captured on camera that has since gone viral online.

In the sweet video, the artist recounted her experience and shared that while she was on her way to Amritsar, busy making her artwork, an air hostess noticed her talent and praised it. Inspired by her appreciation, the artist decided to draw a cartoon character for her. She felt nervous as it was the first time she was doing something like this. Despite being hesitant at first, the air hostess’s warmth and appreciation response made her feel valued. In return for the sketch, the flight attendant was seen giving the artist a variety of snacks and a handwritten note, which left her overwhelmed.

Sumouli Dutta, an illustrator, shared a video on Instagram showing her pleasant interaction with the flight attendant. “I just did this for the very FIRST time. I always draw strangers but never share with them because I am a very shy and introverted person. But this beautiful kind person complimented me when I was working on my commission project in flight. And it gave me some courage to give her a small doodle of hers. I tried and she loved it,” illustrator Dutta captioned her post.

Sumouli Dutta was delighted when the flight attendant returned her generosity with a “big plate of goodies” and a sweet handwritten card. Several social media users flooded the comments section with positive responses, some advised the illustrator to share more such sketches while few others shared their own similar experiences.

A user wrote, “Don’t be shy anymore. Share it with them and see how you make someone’s day. And seeing them smile will make your day too”. Another commented, “This is so kind. The air hostesses are always so nice to us. They deserve this.”

A user compared the sweet gesture from both the illustrator as well as the air hostess, and said “Aww, such a wonderful one and sweet gesture on both sides”. Another remarked, “Every time I come across your videos, they always put a smile on my face. Thank you.”
