Belize Strengthens Air Connectivity with New Nonstop Flights from Major US Carriers
Belize is set to experience a boost in tourism growth with the introduction of new nonstop flights from three prominent U.S. airlines: Spirit Airlines, JetBlue, and United Airlines. This expansion of international air connectivity aims to improve accessibility for travelers from major U.S. cities.
Increased Flight Offerings and Destinations
Spirit Airlines is launching new nonstop services connecting Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize. This route is scheduled to commence on November 9, 2023, with flights operating twice weekly.
JetBlue is also enhancing its presence by introducing a new nonstop route from its New York JFK hub to Belize’s Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). This service is slated to begin on November 16, 2023, and will operate twice weekly.
United Airlines is expanding its existing service by adding a new nonstop route from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston to Belize. This new offering will commence on December 14, 2023, and will operate three times a week.
