A disgruntled former JetBlue employee called in a bomb threat to Port Authority police Wednesday after planting a cell phone labeled “explosive device” at the on-site TWA Hotel at Kennedy Airport, sources said.
The laidoff employee, identified by sources as 32-year-old Dillon Vista, was in a parking lot near JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at the Queens hub when he called Port Authority Police stationed at the airport around 11 a.m., according to Port Authority sources.
